Extension of Temporary Closure and Ticket Refund (Transaction Cancellation) -- Updated on March 12.
To help prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus inside and outside of Japan, teamLab Planets TOKYO has been closed since Feb 29, 2020. The museum will extend this temporary closure until March 22, 2020 due to the request from the Japanese government to voluntarily refrain from holding events. The reopen date may change as the situation develops. Please check our official website for the latest updates.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused, but we consider these measures necessary in ensuring the health and safety of all of our visitors and staff. We thank you for your understanding in this matter.
In addition, we would like to inform you in advance that the following measures will be taken when the museum reopens:

In addition, visitors who display symptoms such as fever, cough, or difficulty breathing may be refused entry . Visitors who are refused entry will be issued a refund, as will any members of their group upon request.
2) Temporary Artwork Closured To lower the risk of infection, the artwork "Soft Black Hole - Your Body Becomes a Space that Influences Another Body" will be temporarily closed. Check here for artwork details * Please note that this artwork may reopen without prior notice.
3) Other Infection Control Measures We will continue taking safety measures, such as ensuring our staff wear masks, asking our visitors to frequently wash their hands using hand sanitizer, and regularly disinfecting and cleaning the facility. Furthermore, we will limit the number of visitors allowed in at any given time in order to ensure an appropriate distance between people as they experience the artworks. * Please note that staff may guide you for your safety.
4) Additional Measures Please refrain from visiting the museum if you feel unwell. During this period, we will issue refunds to those who decide not to visit because they feel unwell. Please contact us using the form provided at the bottom of this page.
